Contrary to my usual aesthetics of plains and blacks, I love colors in my food – and I mean natural colors from fresh fruits and vegetables.

Breville celebrated colors in the recently concluded Fresh & Furious event held last July 24, 2021 via Facebook Live. It was an exciting virtual launch that highlights the functions and features of Breville’s Fresh & Furious Blender, the latest addition to Breville’s line of high-quality Kinetix blenders.

The Fresh and Furious Blender is such a powerful blender that would allow you to not just blend, but also mix, chop, and even liquify solid ingredients. It stays true to its tagline – rough start, smooth finish.

To make the event more intimate and engaging, which was livestream simultaneously from Manila and Baguio, Breville invited a diverse blend of personalities. Chef Waya Araos-Wijangco of Gourmet Gypsy Art Cafe, thespian talents Lissa Romero de Guia and Stella Cañete Balucas Mendoza, film director Marlon Rivera, singer and songwriter Zsaris, and Margo Flores of the Coffee Home Brewers community prepared recipes using the new Fresh and Furious Blender, and these are dishes that are not just colorful and inviting, but are easy to prepare too.

I always love learning from these virtual events, especially discovering ingredients that we didn’t realize we can use to come up with delicious, healthy and colorful dishes just like Chef Waya’s Beet Dip, and Ube Latte by Margo Flores. Even event hosts Myke Soon and Kakki Teodorro even concocted their own cocktails and smoothies using the new Breville Fresh and Furious Blender.

The Fresh & Furious is the latest update on Breville’s Kinetix line of products which are all designed to help home cooks craft restaurant-quality recipes effortlessly. With its Kinetix Blade and Bowl-Hugging System, the model promises a rough start but smooth finish using its surgical-grade blade and smooth blending system that promises to take care of lumps regardless of what it is that you are blending. The Fresh & Furious also comes with a 1-Touch Versatility system which makes it easy for everyone to choose their blending mode, from chopping, crushing ice, to making smoothies.

Other features of the newest model include a very handy Auto Clean button and an LCD display which makes it easier for everyone to ensure precise and consistent blending.

Food can truly connect people, and through the virtual gathering, we can say that regardless of anyone’s “color” – in terms of their craft and interests, we can all blend together and create something bigger with fresh ideas and furious drive.
