After the Sunrise Hike in Borobudur Temple, we headed to the Stupa by Plataran for breakfast. It is as if we were attending a wedding reception when we arrived in the venue.Â
Read my Borobudur Temple Sunrise Hike experience. I woke up at 1:30 AM for the beautiful view. My stomach was obviously complaining about the early call time.Â

I want to go straight to the couch 🙂Â
Looks like a scene from a speed dating event (?)
Qin and Longdy (most likely) talking about volunteer work 🙂Â
What greeted us: the beautiful view of rice paddy fields and mountains. It is serene and close to nature. I love the open dining area with wooden tables and chairs, and interesting tile prints.Â
The breakfast buffet spread is composed of the traditional Indonesian Food. Â Indonesian Food are mostly spicy. I chose to indulge in Noodles, Egg Omelette and Tofu. I love that Indonesia (being a tropical country) serves a lot of fruits. Â I also tried the traditional Indonesian soup with sticky rice, vegetables and boiled egg. It is the first time I tried something like it. It is a complete meal on its own.Â
Stupa by Plataran is a perfect spot to chill after the early morning hike in preparation for the next adventure.Â
Someone is chillin’Â
After the hearty breakfast, we headed to Ullen Sentalu Museum.Â
… to be continued.
