JBL Flip 3 Speaker Review: Splashproof, Portable and Powerful

I may not be summer body ready yet, but my music is! Thank you to my new JBL Flip 3 Speaker.

I used to be a little too selfish with my music and I always wear and bring earphones. But lately, I got acquainted with JBL Flip 3 Speaker. 🎵 I actually got a little too clingy with it. Don’t blame me, it is portable, splashproof and powerful – I use it to listen to music, watch Netflix (and vlogs for mom) and even when making calls (especially that my mom has hearing challenges).

Shape and Design

I love the JBL Flip 3 Speaker’s cylinder design which is easy to carry and pack. I usually just roll it inside a shirt or top when packing and traveling. It has a perfect size that fits perfectly in one’s hand – it is as if you are just holding a bottled water.

The speaker is covered with a rugged rubber/silicon housing protecting it from sand, water, or dust. It is powered by 3,000 mAh battery that can last for about 10 hours. I love the battery LED light that shows the remaining power.

It gives me extreme pleasure to see it vibrate on the side as if I have the whole band of artists playing inside the speaker.

Performance

JBL Flip 3 Speaker gives a really rich and powerful sound for its size. It has a good bass sound and clear music regardless of the kind of genre you listen to. It is consistent and powerful even if you play with the volume.

You have to be cautious at how you lay it on the table, or ground, as it affects the volume, sound and clarify of the music or sound.

Call and Mic Quality

I always connect the JBL Flip 3 Speaker to my phone whenever we call out sister so we can share the conversation with mom. It gives a clear sound output, but you would need to speak near the speaker to not sound too distant.
