Rizal Park Hotel, also known as the Luneta Hotel, is a historic hotel located within the Rizal Park complex in Manila. It is a former Manila Army Navy Club founded in 1898.
I previously stayed at the Rizal Park Hotel and I thought mom would love the hotel, too. Staycations are nice to give our parents a different scenery and experience. It is ideal that the Rizal Park Hotel is near our place.

I personally love the hotel interior and colonial-style architecture. The high ceiling and chandeliers make it more grand and beautiful. The carpeted stairs are a perfect and the usual spot for photos and video shoots.

We booked our Rizal Park Hotel Room via Klook for Php 4,800/night.
Klook.comWhen we checked in, we just presented our voucher and IDs. Since I was staying with a senior, they made sure that our room is located at the second floor and just a few walk to the elevator. We also have a view of Manila Bay.
We got a room with a Queen-Size Bed, TV with cable, hot and cold shower, and desk that I use to work on some editing. I really love how the room made me feel like we were staying in a European hotel.

On the other building (accessible from the lobby), is a pool overlooking the bay. We just stayed for a while and didn’t really swim because it was rainy when we visited.

We just stayed inside the room, watched TV, and waited for the sunset. Unfortunately, it was cloudy that day. It would have been a more beautiful golden sunset.

Our room came with a FREE Breakfast Buffet for 2.
Rizal Park Hotel’s Buffet spread offers the usual breakfast like bacon, egg, bread, salad, fruits, and classic Filipino favorites like Champorado and Danggit.
There were only a few guests checked in during the time of our stay, so the staff was extra attentive to our needs. I hope this is something that they could continued even on peak season.

My mom enjoyed our stay and quiet time at the Rizal Park Hotel. The staff is really pleasant and helpful. The food, however needs a little improvement; but it is nice to have breakfast set in the morning so you don’t need to go out to eat.
I can’t wait to make more memories with mom. Til our next staycation!
