➡️ Take stunning photos at the famous Golden Bridge or “hands bridge”

Our visit to Sun World Ba Na Hills was packed with fun and memorable experiences. Here are some of the highlights from our adventure.

The Golden Bridge is perhaps the most famous attraction at Ba Na Hills and is a representation of Da Nang, Vietnam. It is a stunning pedestrian bridge, held up by two giant stone hands, that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

➡️ Be amazed at the Cable Car System

The journey to Ba Na Hills began with a ride on the world-renowned cable car system. As we ascended, we were treated to breathtaking views of lush forests, waterfalls, and views of the park.

Interestingly, the Ba Na Hills cable car system is renowned for holding several world records, which highlight its engineering excellence and the unique experience it provides. Some of the interesting records it holds include: Longest Non-Stop Single Track Cable Car, Greatest Change in Elevation, Highest Non-Stop Single Track Cable Car.

The cable car provides a convenient and safe ride, accommodating even those with mobility challenges. Its slow pace allows ample opportunity for taking photos and soaking in the scenic views.

➡️ Wander around the French Village

I was in awe when we arrived in what seemed like a little French Village with cobblestone streets, charming cafes, and Gothic-style architecture. There is even a church, and the replica of a French castle, complete with street musician.

➡️ Ride the Drop Tower at the Fantasy Park

Fantasy Park is an indoor theme park that has exciting rides, 4D Cinema, arcade games, and a wax museum. Our ticket came with free ride to some attractions.

One ride that I highly recommend is the Drop Tower. This ride takes you to great heights before dropping you suddenly, providing a heart-pounding free-fall experience.

The lines can get really long, so better choose the rides that you really want to go to, so you don’t waste your time and save it for exploring the other areas.

➡️ Explore the beautiful flowers at the Le Jardin d’Amour Flower Garden

This beautifully landscaped garden features nine different themed sections, each with its unique charm. There is a rose garden, French-style greenhouse, and just flowers everywhere!

➡️ Get Lost Inside the Fern Maze

This is one of the most random and fun things we did in the Sun World Ba Na Hills. Get inside the maze and prepare to get lost and be wet! It was fun and crazy, and a great way to be refreshed when staying under the sun.

➡️ Visit the Spiritual Landmarks

Add a spiritual dimensions in your visit to Ba Na Hills, check out the different shrines and pagodas inside the Sun World Ba Na Hills. There is the Linh Ung Pagoda which is an impressive 27-meter tall statue of the Buddha. The Shrine of the God of the Mountain is dedicated to the mountain deity and is considered a place of worship and spiritual connection. The Linh Phong Tu Tower which is a symbol of Buddhist heritage and provides a tranquil setting for visitors to pay their respects and enjoy the spiritual ambiance of the area.

➡️ Sample Wine at the Debay Wine Cellar

The wine cellar was built by the French in 1923, offers a fascinating glimpse into the past. You can tour the cellar, learn about the wine-making process, and even sample some of the locally produced wines. We missed this part of the Ba Na Hills, but this is one of the must-do things especially for wine-lovers.

➡️ Ride the Alpine Coaster

This is one of the new attractions that we unfortunately missed during our visit. It offers thrilling ride down the mountainside, combining the excitement of a roller coaster with the scenic beauty of the lush landscape. Riders control their speed as they navigate through twists and turns.

How to Get to Sun World Ba Na Hills

From our hotel in Da Nang, we booked a private car (which is the same Grab Car that we were able to book when we arrived going to the hotel). He offered to take us to the Ba Na Hills and back to our hotel for 700,000 VND (which is around Php 1,400).

We booked our Da Nang Klook Pass via Klook which includes a premium destination (we chose Sun World Ba Na Hills) and 2 other destinations (Marble Mountain and Nui Than Thai Hot Spring) It costs around Php 4,220.

We paid an extra night at the hotel so we could check in upon our nighttime arrival. ✈️ We flew via @cebupacificair with luggage and in-flight meals. This is a direct flight so no need to fly domestically from Ho Chi Minh ☺️ 🚗 We booked a Grab car from the airport to the hotel (𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘱 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺) 📲 I always use e-SIM to connect online. Easier activation before flight, and no need to pick up or return any Wi-Fi unit in the airport 👌 🌃 We stayed in Diamond Sea Hotel which is just in front of My Khe Beach and has a convenience store nearby 👌 💰I just withdrew money from my ATM (𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘩𝘱 200+ 𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯), but I also bring USD in case of emergency.
